I have recently been selected to become an ambassador artist for the English Riviera UNESCO global geopark. Alongside 10 other artist of different disciplines. The Aims of a Geopark Ambassador Artist is

  • Promote, support, facilitate, encourage and enable local organisations, projects, initiatives and events that help protect and raise awareness, understanding of and engagement with the English Riviera UNESCO Global Geopark on a local, national or international level.
  • Strengthen existing partnerships and develop new networks to ensure the geological, environmental, historical and cultural qualities of the English Riviera UNESCO Global Geopark are sustained and promoted for current and future generations.
  • Support the retention of the UNESCO status for the benefit of the people of Torbay
  • To celebrate and recognise the creative heritage intrinsic to people and place of the English Riviera UNESCO Global Geopark
  • To promote artists, artisans, creatives and makers producing work inspired by, sympathetic to and celebrating the English Riviera UNESCO Global Geopark

What about water? Exhibition at TAAG, Teignmouth

Come join us at TAAG, Teignmouth. I will be showing 3 of my wave paintings.

Event Starts on Saturday 30th March

6.30 Exhibition opening. Enjoy a glass of wine and meet the Science Buskers @ TAAG

7pm Exhibition Tour. Navigate through our exhibits.

7.45 Candlelit supper. Bring a dish supper to enjoy by candlelight as the lights go out for Earth Hour 2019 and we celebrate the wonders of our planet and what we can do to preserve them.

Exhibition continues until Friday 6th April 2019. Open 10am – 5pm at TAAG Arts and Community Centre, 4 – 5 Northumberland Place, Teignmouth, TQ14 8DD
